Here at Gritty Vibes, we pride ourselves on being the first to be hip to an artist for sure, but we’re also quick to admit when we’re late to a dope musician or movement. bLAck pARty definitely falls into the latter category. The LA based, Arkansas born artist has a soulful vibe that makes us long for what summers used to be like. Outdoors, social, vibing, all lat. bLAck pARty naturally draws some comparisons to Steve Lacy, Daniel Caesar, Frank Ocean and more, but his sound stands alone as his own and one that we’d like to hear more of. We finally paid some mind to our recommended vids on Youtube and man, we’re happy that we did.
