Detroit bred artist ClemonsAndCo impresses with his single “Jus Sayin”

A must hear tune from the talented contemporary artist

Hailing from Mo Town, ClemonsAndCo knows a few things about catching a groove. On his latest track though, the subject matter isn’t wrapped up in the honeymoon phase of love, or a tough break up, but rather the very human and relatable in between stage. What makes him and his music unique is his ability to channel his influences into something new and refreshing. “Jus Sayin” is the first single off of his upcoming EP, and it’s clear that he’s setting the tone early.

Detroit Rappers

The laid back vocals, complemented by the euphoric production of EYELOVEBRADON transport us back to the late 90s/early 2000’s vibes of a Dwele or Musiq Soulchild. With his signature in the pocket delivery, ClemonsAndCo tells his partner like it is. “It chronicles someone that is having trouble in their relationship and is giving their lover an ultimatum,” He says. “I enjoy creating music that is traditional R&B at its core but experimental in all other aspects.”

We’ll be looking forward to the untitled EP on the way, as he continues to bend genres and influences into his original sound. ClemonsAndCo makes it clear that he wants to create a space where listeners can drift away while listening to his songs. With “Jus Sayin”, he has achieved exactly that.
