Lil Wayne’s track gets a fresh perspective

There’s typically two sides to a story but in music, we’re often limited to the narrative of only the artist. It’s always refreshing when the stories get revisited from a different lens, changing the angle of the track for us all. Samira Gibson took the liberty of doing so on the Lil Wayne track “Mona Lisa”. While Wayne displayed Lisa as only a conniving accomplice to his schemes, Gibson dug a little deeper and humanized the character for us all.
