The passionate Jamaican actress has big plans
The art program at Howard University is filled with aspiring creatives who hope to align their talents with their occupation in the future. While the budding artists work just as hard as the rest of the student body, they often get a bad rap for attending school just to “Play around”. One thing’s for certain though, Amanda Morris is not in this for kicks and giggles. The young actress, originally from Spanish town Jamaica, makes it clear that theater and acting is her life. When she finally does breakthrough into her career, she hopes to use her art to give back to the youth in Spanish Town who lack the opportunities that she currently has.
